Your adviser will check the offer for any inaccuracies or special conditions; however, it is also imperative that you check this yourself.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Once you have accepted the offer and it has been returned to the lender, your solicitor will then complete the necessary legal work, including searches to make sure everything is in place ready to receive the funds (make sure you have buildings insurance in place!).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"6\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-3066\" aria-expanded=\"false\">You receive the funds<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-3066\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"6\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-3066\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p>Once the solicitor is ready to complete, they will pay the relevant party in a purchase, or repay your existing mortgage lender on a remortgage. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The balance of any funds remaining are then transferred to your chosen bank account.\u00a0 If it\u2019s a purchase, you are effectively new homeowners!\u00a0 On a remortgage, you have a new lender.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Congratulations! Your mortgage is now complete..<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>If you have given us consent to do so, once the rate period of your mortgage is coming to an end, we will contact you to see if you wish to switch,
