Frequently Asked
Can I visit and speak to someone directly?
Yes, you certainly can!
We’re open 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.
Do you charge up front consultancy fees?
No, we never charge an up-front consultancy fee. This means you can speak to an adviser, have a mortgage sourced, and receive a quote – all for free. Every conversation and all our advice before you apply is free.
Residential and Buy-to-Let mortgages: we charge a non-refundable fee of £199 once we receive your full mortgage application, and a further £396 when you receive your mortgage offer.
Bridging, development and commercial finance: we charge £795 (£499 for semi-commercial mortgages) after we’ve obtained a decision in principle and received your application.
Secured loans, equity release and insurance: we don’t charge a fee for introducing you to our specialist partners. They will tell you about any fees or commission before you proceed, and we may receive a share of their commission.
We may also receive commission from the lender. If your mortgage doesn’t go ahead, fees already paid are not refundable. We’ll confirm all fees in writing before you commit.

How can I help my children buy a home?
With first time buyers finding it harder than ever to get a mortgage, some parents are giving their children a helping hand onto the property ladder.
There are various ways in which you may be able to help them; raising funds on your own home, equity release, acting as a guarantor, applying for the mortgage with them (some lenders offer this as a viable option) or by applying for a family mortgage product.
Speak to one of our specialist advisers for more information.
Is there a maximum age when applying for a mortgage?
Potentially no, some lenders we have access to have no age limit at application or by the end of the mortgage. It all depends on your needs and circumstances, and lenders will still assess whether the mortgage is affordable in retirement.
