Are you an aspiring Mortgage Adviser, or an adviser ready to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking an office-based Mortgage Adviser to join our team at Impact Specialist Finance, a leading mortgage brokerage based in central Horsham, West Sussex.

As specialists in the mortgage lending industry, we assist a wide range of clients – from borrowers with adverse credit who have struggled to access high street lending, to portfolio landlords looking to expand and optimise their property investments. In this office-based role, you’ll become a key member of a vibrant, friendly, and professional team, where your skills and knowledge will be valued and developed. You will be responsible for offering whole-of-market mortgage advice, managing your own caseload, and delivering a first-class service throughout the full mortgage application process. This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser in the early stages of their career to build experience and grow in a supportive, dynamic environment.

Duties will include:

• Providing regulated mortgage advice to a broad range of clients, including those with complex credit histories or unique lending requirements
• Conducting thorough fact-finds to understand clients’ circumstances and mortgage needs
• Researching suitable mortgage products from a whole-of-market panel
• Presenting mortgage recommendations clearly and compliantly
• Submitting applications and progressing cases through to completion, liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, and colleagues throughout
• Ensuring all documentation and records are maintained accurately and in line with FCA regulations
• Staying up to date with industry and lender changes, products, and criteria
• Working closely with support staff and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Meeting individual and team performance targets

Key Requirements:

• CeMAP Certificate in Mortgage Advice or CII Certificate in Mortgage Advice qualified, with some experience in a mortgage-related role – such as mortgage administration, case management, or adviser work)
• CAS status preferred (support can be provided for the right candidate)
• Keen to develop knowledge and confidence working with a whole-of-market lender panel
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• A professional telephone manner and confident communicator
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and a proactive team player
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Numerate with a keen eye for detail
• Passionate about providing exceptional customer service
